In an old memorial hall in the small town of Boort, a group of Debutantes prepared for their special evening. The event is held every two years by a small group of volunteers. This year they asked me to photograph all of the Debutantes, partners and families.
It’s a traditional sort of town and this was reflected in the way the Deb was carried out. Although we had some guidelines for the formal shots, we were also able to have some cheeky shots in as well.
There was a good showing in numbers with the Debs, partners and flower girls. The hall was totally booked out.
